Fine art portraiture is not easy, especially with children. Sometimes photographing children, the best way to really get them is to have them just look. Shot here with hair and wardrobe to suit the style of the shoot; a carefully thought out process and angelic finish. My idea is to stop time with these children; to really capture them at 7 and 3/4’s and really see how they look. To creative a documented, beautifully lit image which details your little one at that time. Hair by HAIR on NORTH STREET, 49 North Street, Chichester www.northsalon.co.uk by Jack and Sammy. Wardrobe by myself and Ruth Milliam – Wedding Dress Designer.

Description of Fine Art Portraiture
- What is Fine Art Portraiture
A fine art portrait photograph is intended for wall art. … Fine art portrait photography delivers maximum impact and depicts emotion in a vivid and distinctive style. These portraits are timeless and capture the essence of the subject’s character in a vision created by the photographer.
- The Fine Art Gentre
Fine art portrait photography is a slightly ambiguous genre. Some argue that in order to be considered fine art, an image must feature specific elements. Others claim that we as the photographers can decide whether our work fits into the fine art genre or not.
