Jo and Andy LOVED Audleys Wood Hotel. For a wedding photographer in Hampshire, Audleys Wood Hotel is a truly magical and enchanting venue and the staff listen to what you need. Audleys Wood Hotel is quite central to those coming from London, the South and the North and is located in Basingstoke.
The Garden Pavilion is an elegant venue making the most of our local countryside views and offers a spectacular setting to your special day. It is light and airy and extends onto the spacious garden emphasising the room’s al fresco feel. During the evening the twinkling fairy light canopy creates a magical atmosphere for your reception. See Jo and Andy’s room, which was spectacular!
With its own entrance, garden and private reception and bar area, it offers facilities from 50 guests and up to 200. We had a great time throwing confetti. Overlooking their grounds, with a high arched vaulted ceiling, the Conservatory provides a truly stunning location for your civil ceremony. This unique Space can accommodate up to 100 guests for your ceremony and 70 for a wedding breakfast. For smaller gatherings, The Simonds Room is at the heart of the hotel, a room designed for grand yet intimate entertaining. The Simonds offers facilities for up to 20 guests whereas our Sir George Bradshaw room can accommodate up to 40 guests for a ceremony and Wedding Breakfast.
The little ones in the wedding were slightly grumpy to begin with; its always good to have sweets. Jo’s sister was amazing; travelling over from America with husband and baby; she kept the little ones entertained. As a fellow photographer, she knew exactly what I needed. So, helpful!
The day went to plan. See the wonderful shots in the high ceiling Pavilion; so lovely and open. The drinks were outside, and the sun set perfectly for romantic shots up by the field at the end before the speeches.
Thanks for sharing your day with me Jo and Andy; you were a pleasure and so were you parents and families; great fun!
